Have you ever wanted to learn more about insects? Come join me and investigate insects just like an Entomologist would. We will begin by learning about the job of an Entomologist. We will then be discussing the parts of an insect (head, thorax, abdomen, six legs, and compound eyes) as well as the insect habitats. Students will learn the parts of an insect, the job of an entomologist (a scientist who studies insects), and create their own insect.
1 file available upon enrollment- handouts/coloring sheets that I will supply for you to print out - coloring materials such as crayons, markers, or colored pencils
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
