Class Experience

US Grade 1
Beginner Level
🌟Join me as we we discover the wonders of English through storytelling in an ongoing class where we will practise reading, speaking, and writing skills.

🌟Explore fascinating topics such as friends, jobs, our community, and pets in immersive style classes and learn everyday English expressions.

🌟Dive into exciting stories and decrypt the magical code of phonics!

🌟Apply new skills in hands-on, crafts and research projects!

🌟Each learner will receive personalized feedback and continuous support in class and out. Beginners will be guided step-by-step and advanced students will be challenged so everyone feels included and engaged.

🌟This is an inclusive classroom environment and learners are welcome to participate in any way they feel most comfortable. All learners are unique and bring their strengths into the classroom.

🌟Students are welcome to join at any time during the year. Lessons are modular. Learners will be provided with everything they need to thrive in class.

🌟 Lessons will typically entail a warm-up, pre-teaching, class discussion then practice. If learners are required to bring materials to the lesson, I will let the class know on the class notice board ahead of time.

I have been teaching academic literacy for almost twenty years. Over the years I have had the opportunity to teach across the grade spectrum from kindergarten to university students. I believe that an inclusive and supportive classroom environment is important for learning that makes a difference.
