Class Experience
I will be providing tutoring for your child based on their needs. I am open to ideas from the student, parents, and/or classroom teachers, but I am also confident in setting goals on my own depending on your request. My areas of expertise include: phonemic awareness phonics fluency comprehension handwriting spelling grammar all levels of reading and writing I believe in using targeted, differentiated instruction to ensure students feel challenged. I use games, interests, and encouragement to maximize enjoyment and motivation. My expertise is literacy instruction, so I am also happy to assess your child and determine their needs. Our lessons will be targeted both to fit their needs and their interests. If wanted, I will provide practice activities between our lessons and proficiency validation plans to show growth.

Supply List
If a student is writing at an encoding level (still working on letter formation and basic letters, words, or sentences), I recommend primary-lined paper. All students should bring any of the following they have available (no need to purchase if not): dry erase board and marker paper and pencil markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
