Effectively being able to write in English is a core skills for students to learn and a very powerful tool too! This one-time class will explore how to structure an essay correctly, and in a way that can be used for a variety of situations.

Beginner Level
This lesson looks to explore one of the fundamental skills of writing in English, and that is of being able to structure and write an essay effectively and with correct writing conventions. Students will learn of what makes an effective and ineffective essay, the structure of an introduction, body paragraphs and conclusion and the formula to build an essay across different subject areas. This class is structured between explicit teaching (teacher-directed), collaborative discussion among students and the teacher and small tasks students can engage with whilst learning.
