Hello, and thank you for your interest in my private class. I have over 25 years of teaching experience, a Bachelor's in Education, an AA in Early Childhood Education, and an ESOL certificate. I've taught over 3000 English Learner students online, 7000+ lessons. During these tutoring sessions, I will create personalized lessons for students according to their goals and level. Conversations will be highly encouraged, and active participation is expected. I will be using a variety of tools like visuals, props, etc, depending on the student's age and needs. During the first meeting, I will assess the level of the students and understand their needs. Open communication with students and parents will be very important during this class so I can get a better understanding of topics they would like to learn about or if they need more practice with previous concepts. I can also help with School's Homework. Each week we will learn about different topics using Scholastic News. Here are some of the topics we will study: - How to climb a volcano. - Animal camouflage. - Almas colors, the story of art. - Abraham Lincoln - Business for kids.

During this class students will read articles from Scholastic. We will have different topics from: science, politics, health, social sciences, etc.
Please make sure to read the tittle of the article that will be provided the day before class and feel free to reach out about any concerns.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of individuals, from the youngest of infants to the most seasoned of adults. Each age group presents its own unique set of challenges and rewards, and I have found that every single one is filled with an abundance of incredible learning opportunities.
I am proud to hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. With over 25 years of experience as a classroom teacher, I have honed my skills and expertise in the field of education. In the past five years, I have been teaching online, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have had the privilege of teaching over 3000 online students and conducting more than 7000 lessons.
As an educator, I am passionate about learning from different cultures and sharing my own culture with others. I have had the opportunity to teach English Language Learners (ELL) both in classrooms and online also Spanish as a Second Language.
During my time in the classroom, I always aimed to make my lessons interactive, engaging, and fun. I incorporated a lot of movement and provided ample opportunities for students to communicate with one another. This approach has been incredibly successful, and I have carried it over to my online teaching as well. I believe that students should be an active part of the learning process and feel comfortable in their learning environment.
