Encanto Zumba, Colombian Culture and Spanish Introduction (Ongoing)

Join me (A Colombian Teacher) for a fun and exciting  1 week camp course for the Encanto lover learner! We will explore expressive movement and dance through Zumba kids choreographies, Colombian Culture and a first Spanish Introduction.

This super fun course combines the mental and physical benefits of Dance without the pressure of memorizing choreographies. With the added bonus of learning about the beautiful culture of Encanto, Colombia. As well as getting a first exposure to Spanish.

I will be your kid's biggest hype woman. My goal with this class is for my learners to have fun, work on their coordination and leave the classroom feeling accomplished.

  👉Week 2/August 5: We don't talk about Bruno+ Salsa!+ days of the week in Spanish
  👉Week 3/August 12: Surface pressure+ Pacific Coast dances and culture+ colours in Spanish
  👉Week 4/August 19: What else can I do+  Andean dances and culture+ numbers 1-15 in Spanish
  👉Week 5/ August 26: All of you+  Champeta + Foods in Spanish
  👉Week 6/September 2: Dos Oruguitas+  Cali dances and culture+ Animals in Spanish



A typical class includes…
  👉 Introductions + question of the day
  👉 Warm up/stretching
  👉 Dance dance and more dance+ Colombian culture
  👉 Spanish lesson
  👉 sharing 


 Learners need…
👉 An open space to participate safely in the class
👉Gym shoes
👉Comfortable clothing
👉Water 
👉Extra stretching is advised after class 

If a learner has any disability or injury I ask parents to message me beforehand or let me know at the beginning of the class to make the appropriate modifications. It is also advised for parents to be close to the learners for safety precautions.

B O N U S :

Learners will receive colouring pages of Encanto to do after class, As well as practicing pages of the Spanish lesson of the day.

While I do my best to encourage participation from learners enrolled in my classes. Learners will be muted following introductions due to background noise that cannot be prevented and its interference with music/instruction.
