I have a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Medical Health Services Management from South Texas College. I have 7 years of teaching experience, including a focus on reading intervention, phonetic development, reading for understanding, and critical thinking. I have experience in special education resource and know how to develop a plan to guide struggling readers.
Here in the United States, we speak and write American English. In the reading, there may occasionally be words that are spelled differently to British English (in the USA: color; in Britain: colour). Any unfamiliar words will be discussed with your child to ensure comprehension and to support vocabulary development.
