Description

Class Experience

Students will learn to do the stem stitch and the running stitch, while practicing their dexterity.
Mrs. Borton has been sewing and stitching as long as she can remember!  She has taught sewing, quilting, and embroidery at a local fabric store where she worked with students of all ages.
Students will need the following supplies:
1.  fabric in a plain color
2.  embroidery floss in at least three colors
3.  an embroidery hoop
4.  needles for sewing/embroidery
5.  scissors for cutting floss
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be using needles and scissors during class.  A parent may need to be present with younger students.
