Class Experience

I have an MSW (mental health concentration) and an undergrad degree in psychology. Mental wellness is something I am fascinated by and have been researching for over a decade. I make sure to stay up to date with the most cutting edge research and leaders in the field of neuropsychology, so I feel I am a good choice to relay information on this topic. Some mental health practitioners are trained differently and study the neuroscience behind anxiety, depression, and other like issues. I am trained in this manner but try my best to not be too clinical and speak to children in a laid back manner, since the topics can be daunting. 
Please bring a pen or pencil and a piece of paper to class for a quick exercise we will be doing together! I will offer the ability to download my PowerPoint presentation, and will also have a handout for students to keep in PDF form that will include links and other resources on this topic for outside of the class learning opportunities.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
