This is a course version of my current ongoing Elementary Spanish classes. It is designed for a homeschool group or similar learning pod that would like to work with the same learners consistently each week. It may be set as a private group upon request. Week 1Lesson 1Vamos a la fiestaLearners will learn the names for family members and learn how to answer the question Who do you want to invite to your party? Example- Invito mi mama a la fiesta- I invite mom to the party.Week 2Lesson 2Vamos a la fiesta 2Learners will learn how to count candles on a birthday cake from 0 to 12 and answer the questions Cuantos anos tienes. How old are you?Week 3Lesson 3Vamos a la fiesta 3Learners will learn color words and answer the question What color is this balloon? as well as How many orange balloons do you see?Week 4Lesson 4Vamos a la fiesta 4Learners will learn the words big and small and vocabulary for common toys. Learners will open virtual gits and make a sentence to describe the gift inside such as There is a teddy bear in the red gift. Hay un osito en el regalo rojo or El regalo rojo es grande. The red gift is big.Week 5Lesson 5Weather timeLearners will learn weather vocabulary and look at a daily weather forecast to determine which day is best for going on a field trip outdoors.Week 6Lesson 6Vamos a la granjaLearners will take an imaginary trip to the farm. Learners will learn the names for animals they might see on the farm and create short sentences to describe the color of the animal.Week 7Lesson 7Vamos a la granjaLearners will take an imaginary trip to the farm and learn the sounds for various animals on the farm. They will learn the song Don MacDonald and create short sentences to say El pato dice cuac cuac. The duck says quack.Week 8Lesson 8Vamos a la granjaLearners will learn the words for various things you might find on the farm and play a hide and seek game to find an animal hiding on the farm. They will use prepositions to make sentences such as the duck is behind the tractor.Week 9Lesson 9Vamos a la granjaLearners will learn the words for various fruits and vegetables you might find growing on a farm. They will plant an imaginary garden and practice counting, identify the colors of veggies and make a sentence to say There are 10 pumpkins on the farm.Week 10Lesson 10Vamos a la granjaLearners will review a variety of farm vocabulary by playing a sorting game to identify if a words begins with el or la and determine if it belongs on the farm.Week 11Lesson 11Vamos a la granjaLearners will learn vocabulary to describe various farm animals. They will make sentences while playing a guessing game to describe a secret farm animal following a model.Week 12Lesson 12Las estacionesLearners will learn the 12 months of the year and group them into seasons. They will make a simple sentence to identify what you can do in each season.Week 13Lesson 13Las estacionesLearners will learn the words for various food items and sort them into any or all typical seasons. They will make a sentence to to tell about what they like to eat and do not like to eat. For example I like to eat ice cream in the summer.Week 14Lesson 14Las estacionesLearners will learn various verbs for seasonal sports and activities and sort them into any typical seasons. They will make a sentence to tell about what things they like to do in each season. For example I like to ice skate in the winter.

- Students will learn vocabulary for colors, numbers, foods, weather, seasons, months, basic everyday objects and animals.
I am a licensed National Board Certified teacher in grades k-9, Math, Spanish, English, ESL and bilingual studies in multiple states. I have been teaching bilingual (Spanish) learners since 2002 in public and private settings

Pencil, paper, whiteboard, marker, scissors, glue, coloring utensils in red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, black, brown, gray, pink and white, blank notecards or white paper Access to a printer is ideal. I provide flashcards and interactive sheets for class and extra practice. Handouts are provided in the classroom prior to or after class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance suggested with scissors for young learners.
