Description

Class Experience

This is a multiday version of my current ongoing Elementary Spanish classes.  It is designed for a homeschool group or similar learning pod that would like to work with the same learners consistently each week. It may be set as a private group upon request.  I can also add as many weeks as you like.

This class is designed for young learners that are new to Spanish.  I will use an immersion approach as much as possible where students will work with a small set of vocabulary and we will speak,...

Students will learn vocabulary for colors, numbers, shapes, basic everyday objects and animals.  
Students will apply common vocabulary to create short sentences with a model in the Target Language.

I am a licensed National Board Certified teacher in grades k-9, Math, Spanish, English, ESL and bilingual studies in multiple states.  I have been teaching since 2002 in public and private settings

Optional activities may be posted in the classroom

Pencil, paper, whiteboard, marker, scissors, glue, coloring utensils in red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, black, brown, gray, pink and white, blank notecards or white paper
Access to a printer is ideal.  I provide flashcards and interactive sheets for class and extra practice. Handouts provided in the classroom prior to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Optional nearpod practice may be posted in the classroom. Class is not graded.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parental guidance suggested with scissors for young learners.
