1 in-class hoursClass Experience
For this class we will begin with a brief overview of Edvard Munch's painting, "The Scream" along with one of George Rodrigue's paintings featuring his favorite "Blue Dog". I will lead students through a guided drawing of a landscape in which we will substitute a dog for Munch's original, spooky character. I will demonstrate how to blend and layer colors while using color pencils and we will focus on utilizing a warm and cool color palette in our drawing. Students are encouraged to add their own spooky ideas within the drawing. This is a great drawing lesson for fall and Halloween.
