Edit Your Own Videos Using a Computer! (One-Time Introductory Class)

This one-time class is a beginner's course for anyone interested in video editing. This specific class is for learners wanting to edit on a computer. We will be using the program called Wondershare Filmora. You can click the "free download" option for this class. Direct link to the program will be in the materials section. This is the only requirement for the class. Families are welcome to upgrade to the paid annual subscription in order to get rid of the watermark on their videos, but it is NOT NECESSARY in order to attend this class. 

Here are the 3 fun effects that we will do together:
1. Learn how to use the "split" feature to cut out clips they don't want
2. Add an image or sticker
3. Put music in their video

During class I will be sharing my computer screen, using the screen sharing feature on Zoom, so I can demonstrate how to use Wondershare Filmora. After class, learners will have access to the class recording and will be able to watch the demonstrations as many times and they want to or need to!

If your learner has the editing program up and ready, they should be able to complete these 3 tasks mentioned above and then export it to their device to save it as an mp4 file. 

If your learner does not come to class with Wondershare Filmora ready to use, they are still welcome to watch the demonstration during class, interact with other students, and ask me any questions to help them understand the process. After class, once they are prepared to use the program, they are welcome to use the information they learned during class, and practice when ready.
