In this one time class, we will learn how to make delicious vegan applesauce cookies. We will talk about vegan and non-vegan.
Class experience
In this class, students will learn how to bake cookies. We will learn the basics of measuring, combining ingredients, and baking tips. This class will allow students to ask questions and learn the steps of putting together cookie dough and real time baking as I guide each student step by step. This class will be fun and interactive. Your child will need all of their ingredients NOT measured out as we will practice measuring accurately followed by combining ingredients and baking. We will show...
Students will learn to read and understand a recipe. Students will learn to measure ingredients using measuring cups and measuring spoons. Students will learn to mix ingredients by following a recipe. Students will work on following written instructions and listening to verbal instructions. Students will work alongside each other to produce a the completed recipe.
1 file available upon enrollmentINGREDIENT LIST: softened vegan butter (can use non-vegan butter) powdered sugar salt applesauce (freshly made or store brought) cinnamon vanilla all purpose flour You will receive the full recipe after enrolling in this class. Please print it, read it and have it to follow along in class. The information sheet will also explain the kitchen supplies you will need for class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parents may want to assist younger students in this class as students will be using a hand mixer or standing mixer, if you have one otherwise a fork will do and working with the oven. Parents may need to be near for younger students to ensure proper kitchen safety. If your child has allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact me to find a replacement. These cookies can also be made as non-vegan cookies.
