If you have chosen to come to this class, you have already proved that you are brave and an adventurer. Why? It is because you are about to climb onto the highest mountain in the world - learning one of the hardest language Cantonese Chinese. Don't you worry! I will be with you in every little step of the way to make sure you can reach that goal. This class consists of ongoing sessions, 45 minutes each, meeting once a week.

Every 3-4 weeks, one theme will be covered. Each week, there will be a focus, which builds on the previous class. Speaking and Listening are the main focus for this level because this is on exposure and build the interests. However, depending on the progress of this class, reading and writing might be introduced as well.

This is a BEGINNER class. The following is a tentative layout of topics/themes that can be expected (details to be tailored based on students' needs when the class begins):

Week 1: 7/22 Numbers (0 to 30)
* Introduction (class overview, expectations, Ice Breaker)
* Focus on how to say Numbers (0 to 30)
* Game: Counting, Adding, and Subtracting using numbers learned

Week 2: 7/29 Numbers (31 to 60)
* Review Numbers (0 to 30)
* Focus on how to say Numbers (31 to 60)
* Game: Counting, Adding, and Subtracting using numbers learned

Week 3: 8/5 Numbers (61 to 99)
* Review Numbers (0 to 60)
* Focus on how to say Numbers (61 to 99)
* Game: Counting, Adding, and Subtracting using numbers learned

Week 4: 8/12 Colors (SEVEN RAINBOW COLORS)
* Review Numbers (0 to 99)
* Focus on how to say Colors (SEVEN RAINBOW COLORS)
* Game: using numbers and colors learned

The rest of the themes include, but not limited to, other colors, shapes, family, toys, fruits, food, drinks, etc. Sentences making using themes learned will be included after 5-6 weeks of classes. Please note that lessons will be modified as the class goes to tailor to the students' needs.
