I will provide after class a list of words we learned and the stories we read in class for you to practice with between class if you wish to do so. This is completely optional.

Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten
To learn to read English, a child must figure out the relationship between sounds and letters as well as how those sounds fit together. In this early readers class, learners will learn how letter sounds fit together to form words. Each class will we will learn to make words from a new word family (CVC words)

These will be stand alone lessons that do not require knowledge from previous lessons, so you can come and go as you please. If time allows we will also learn a few sight words to add to our word family of the week. This will be a high energy, vocal class. They will have so much fun they will forget they are learning. However shy student will not be put on the spot or forced into something they are not comfortable doing. Everyone is welcome be be as verbal or non verbal as they desire.

Week of  November 5   AB words (cab, lab, tab, crab, grab)
Week of  November 12   AD words (dad, bad, mad, sad, pad, lad)
No class week of November 19
Week of November 26: AG words (bag, tag, wag, rag, flag)
Week of December 3:  AN words (can, fan, man, pan, ran, plan)
Week of December 10:  AM words (ham, jam, yam, slam)
Week of December 17: AT words (bat, mat, sat, cat, hat, chat)
No class  the week of December 24
Week of December 31: AP words (cap, map, nap, tap, trap)
Week of January 7: ED words (red, bed, fed, wed, shed)

Hello, I'm Greg Flanders and I am so excited to meet you! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. I have been working with both children and teenagers for over fifteen years as a coach and educator. I have over 8 years of experience teaching dynamic classes in an online classroom. I use to hold credentials through the State of Ohio Department of Education (expired). I have a variety of interest and enjoy sharing those interests with my students. I love when students overcome their struggles to learn something new. It brings me joy to be a part of it.

Hello! I’m Micaiah and I have been studying martial arts for 11 years. I am a black belt in Taekwondo. I look forward to providing engaging martial arts classes. For the past 5 years I have been a content creator on YouTube. I produce fun and instructional gaming videos  on my brand Faded Gaming.
