This class is the sequel to "Dungeons and Dragons: Intro to Fantasy Roleplaying" (https://outschool.com/classes/dungeons-and-dragons-intro-to-fantasy-roleplaying-xLy12q8M#usu529M6QA) Students are welcome to skip the Intro class and enroll in the Intermediate Campaign if they have previous RPG experience or just like a good challenge :) This longer, more advanced campaign will build upon the foundations learned in the first class and challenge students with a complex story, stronger enemies, and tougher puzzles. We'll also explore deeper RPG aspects like armor/equipment, leveling up, and more advanced combat/spells. Depending on the preferences of the players, it is still may be more streamlined version of the game that other versions you may be familiar with, to encourage a game based more in creative stories than one weighed down by intense RPG elements. As always, D&D teaches creativity, storytelling, logical reasoning, arithmetic, leadership, and teamwork. By the end of the class, the students will be even more comfortable with D&D, so they can go out and serve as Dungeon Master for their own adventures with friends and family. Finally, I recommend checking out my Teacher Profile, especially my Teaching Philosophy section, to make sure this is a fit for your student. See you in class! This is an original campaign created by the instructor, all Dungeons & Dragons IP is owned by Wizards of the Coast. Class listing image credit: Wizards of the Coast

I'm an avid D&D player and experienced Dungeon Master. When I'm not playing, I read D&D fan forums and listen to D&D podcasts to help me brainstorm compelling storylines for my campaigns. In addition to this class, I teach 6 other D&D classes, including the prequel to this class, which is the first of its kind on Outschool.
