In this beginners course, we will create characters and play a Dungeons and Dragons campaign within a week. We will meet every day for two hours, which will be a great "boot camp" to get students used to and ready to play bigger Dungeons and Dragons campaigns. D&D is an interactive tabletop roleplaying game, where students will get to work with their fellow adventurers, solve puzzles, roleplay, and most importantly, fight dragons in a fantasy world. This campaign will be a classic D&D campaign, with goblins, owlbears, and dragons (oh my!).

Parental Guidance
Dungeons and Dragons contains combat, which inherently means violence, but I try to keep the killing of humans to a minimum and do not have graphic descriptions.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

It is recommended that your student have a copy of the 5th Edition Players Handbook, but not required.

Hello! I teach classes on Dungeons and Dragons, a fun and engaging tabletop role-playing game for all ages. D&D can foster creativity, problem solving skills, and cooperation in children. I am a Psychology major in my final year, and I have been playing D&D for about 9 years. I also moderate panels on D&D each year at one of the biggest gaming conventions in the US.
