Class Experience

Students will learn math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, decimals and fractions all while playing Dungeons and Dragons. Students will also learn how to work together as a team by using social, reasoning and critical thinking skills that are age appropriate.
I have been a professional DM for almost 3 years now. I've been playing Roll Playing games (RPSs) like Dungeons and Dragons since 1997.
No homework unless the student wishes to make a character using Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition rules. I will have character sheets they can choose from before class and upload them into the classroom.
I will post character sheets for your student to choose from. Print the sheet for them to use before the class. Other items needed: paper and pencils or pen; Dice used for role playing games or just use the link provided above in materials for virtual dice (20 sided die D20, 12 sided D12, 10 sided D10, 8 sided D8, 6 sided D6 and 4 sided D4) and last but not least an active imagination.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I can provide a grade based on your students work in this Dungeons and Dragons math class.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
