This is a special birthday themed game of Dungeons and Dragons. In this game students will work cooperatively to solve puzzles and defeat foes before time runs out. Along the way they will face several challenges, battles and make friends. Dungeons and Dragons can serve as a great tool for teaching logic and critical thinking. This adventure highlights problem solving and team work. They will be learning these skills while having a grand adventure. I will ask for character creation before the game begins but I am happy to work with any student to create a character if they don't know how. Pre generated characters will also be available if a student does not desire to build a character. The game has five chapters: Chapter 1: The players birthday celebration goes horribly wrong and they are cursed by an evil wizard. Chapter 2: On the quest to find the wizard the players must confront the wizard's pet dragon and his missing tail Chapter 3: The players enter the wizard's strange rubbery house and must solve the invitation puzzle Chapter 4: The players battle the wizard and the true villain appears Chapter 5: The players must solve the birthday puzzle to break the curse If you are booking for a group please contact me for a special rate! This adventure was written by me and is published on the DM's Guild website under the name When the Candles Go Out...

Teacher expertise and credentials
Texas Teaching Certificate in Science
I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was in high school back in the 80's. Last year I became a professional game master and I have over 100 positive reviews on StartPlaying.games. I have also been a high school science teacher for 13 years. This makes me very good at explaining difficult concepts.
