Dress a Paper Doll for Fall: And Name Her Outfit
My Fashion Toolbox
This is a one-time course where your child will add their own style to this fall-themed doll's wardrobe. They will learn proper names and fashion terms for each item of clothing.
Class experience
This is a one-of-a-kind unique course that teaches what clothing items are named, how they are worn and allows your learner(s) the opportunity to show off their talents by decorating their own paper doll. This particular lesson will be tailored to a fall wardrobe. A series of tops, bottoms, shoes, and accessories (and of course sweaters) will be provided along with a doll. The class will go as follows: A short introduction and discussion about paper dolls and where they came from (patins)....
We will discuss the terms and vocabulary for the garments within this wardrobe. Learners will use their creativity by designing the art and colors for their doll's clothing. Sharing likes and dislikes among their fellow learners will be encouraged and coached.
Styling background during fashion schooling allows this teacher to be more than qualified to teach this subject matter.
1 file available upon enrollmentCome prepared with the doll and clothing printout provided. Scissors are necessary. You will also need something to color with like crayons, colored pencils, markers, or any other coloring tools.
