Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class is for students who love to draw people and want to learn realistic drawing techniques and skills related to that. This is a weekly ongoing class which means that students may enroll for as many sessions as they would like, and each lesson stands on its own. Each week we will create a drawing of the human figure within a unique setting, or a portrait expressing an emotion. This class might appeal to artists who are interested in comics, graphic novels, animae, or fashion. Students are encouraged to add their own creative ideas and details, and I strive to create a learning environment that is supportive, relaxed and fun.
Learning Goals
Student will create one drawing of a portrait or human figure.
Student will create one drawing including the following drawing technique: shading, sketching, line variety.
Student will demonstrate knowledge of proportion, gesture or expression through drawing.
