Class Experience

This class is specifically for ages 9 - 11, if your student is older please check out my similar class listing for ages 12 - 16. 

In this ongoing class students will have a new insect to draw each week. I will upload high quality images of the insect before class for students to work from and I will show the insect and photos in class. I will share any interesting facts or features that I have learned about each insect. During class I will share the image on my screen as well as have a live...

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn how to draw various insects by developing observational drawing skills such as value, shapes, shading, and more.

Students should finish their drawings outside of class if they do not complete it during our class time.

I will be using these materials but if students prefer charcoal, colored pencils, or another medium they are welcome to use that.

Students are encouraged to share their work with the class.
