In this one-time class, you will learn how to draw all kinds of hairstyles, from simple to complex. We will look at hair from every angle; I don't just mean visually. People spend a lot of time (and a lot of money) on their hair. Why? Because hair matters. It is more than just decoration for our heads. Hair is a message to the world about who we are and how we want to be treated. Whether you are a serious artist or just a beginner, you will gain some great skills from this class. You'll draw along with me as I demonstrate hair-drawing techniques. After class, I'll give you more tutorials to help you practice what you learned. Drawing topics in this class include: • Hairlines • Short hair • Long hair • Hair textures (straight, wavy, curly, tight curls) • Braids and complex shapes • Symmetry/Asymmetry • Drawing hair from multiple angles • Hair as an expression of emotion, personality, and class After the course, continue drawing with me by joining my group, Draw More With Jerry Joe Seltzer https://outschool.com/groups/drawing-more-with-jerry-joe-seltzer-aHORDq7k#usVW5rGrRu
