Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to sketch any human face. This is a skill best learned at an early age.
As an artist, I know the challenges one faces while drawing and painting faces. Even the best artists have days when we produce funny portraits. The goal of a class like this is to learn this skill early on, and hopefully strengthen the passion for it so that we can practice daily and become great at drawing faces!
Practice daily while looking at yourself in a mirror! Practice makes perfect.
Sketch pad Soft Pencil or charcoal pencil Sharpener A kneaded eraser or regular eraser will do Small tabletop Mirror to look at and study one's own face
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No one passes or fails. This is a skill that requires one to practice and practice. Everyone is a winner for showing up to class! Drawing faces is not an easy task.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
