Informal assessmentClass Experience
This is a one-time meeting class, but you can take this class as many times as you like. We will draw different Squishmallows each time, so each class stands alone. You can take any sections of this class that work with your schedule. This is a fun, relaxed class to enjoy drawing time. We will draw some Squishmallows and color them. I will provide step by step instruction for each drawing, so the students can follow along. There are lots of Squishmallows, and we will draw different ones for each class, so you can retake this class as many times as you like. I use a second device to show my hands drawing. You will need to have "Gallery View" open on your Zoom screen. It is usally easier to get gallery view on a laptop or a pc. If you have to use a tablet, please be sure that you know how to get Gallery View on the tablet. Phones don't usually work well for gallery view. I will show the step by step drawing instructions, as we are going along. I will check each learner's progress as we are going along, so that I can help where needed. The students can hold up their drawing to the camera, so I can see how they are doing. My teaching style is relaxed and fun. This is a hands on class, so the students are encouraged to participate the entire time. They can ask questions, show their drawings, and suggest ideas. The students are given encouragement and support. They can color and decorate their drawings, to show their own personal style. If the student does not completely finish the drawing during the classtime, they can add the finishing touches after the class. The students can choose their own colors for their creation, and add accessories that they like. No two drawings have to look exactly the same. The student should enjoy creating their art.
