Hello, I'm Ms. Jes! In my classes, kids unleash their inner artist using favorite characters and games that I’m just as passionate about as they are. We explore spontaneous creativity and embracing “mistakes”. Let’s start drawing outside the box! This class is perfect for kids of all ages and even welcomes younger siblings to join! We will be getting creative by drawing a mashup of an axolotl and a holiday elf! Learners are encouraged to be creative and draw their mashup in their own way if they'd like to - or they are welcome to follow along with my step by step instructions to draw my version. It is fun at the end to see everyone's drawings and see the creative ideas thought of by each young artist. Students can use any coloring utensil they prefer to bring their creations to life.

I am most passionate about teaching art and learning in unique ways. My approach to teaching infuses encouragement and optimism while having fun and connecting with a new generation over shared interests. Every child is special and celebrated for being who they are! No matter the class, I believe in positively approaching learning and finding joy in it.
• Outside of Outschool, I founded a nonprofit youth performing arts academy in 2015.
