In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw whole pies and one cut pie using circle templates (lids from plastic containers are PERFECT for this!), and drawing details, such as crust, filling, whipped cream, and even a plate with a slice, all on a table with a patterned tablecloth. We will use color media to color our designs.
It is important to note that I do not rush my artists or expect them to have their art completed by the end of class. Some students work fast and will be finished before class ends; others will need extra time after class ends. Just before class ends, we will celebrate the great work everyone has done, no matter where they are in terms of completion.
