Hi everyone! I’m Joi Overby. I graduated university with Summa Cum Laude honors with my BS in Media Arts and Technology. Since then I've worked in the graphic design industry designing thrilling logos and publications for businesses, and drawing specially-made illustrations for individuals and families.
Drawing is my passion and I especially love drawing cartoons and anime! This passion has inspired my classes here on Outschool that teach young artists the basics of creating their own cartoon and anime characters and worlds. By name, my class series is called Draw Your Own Anime Characters and it’s set up to guide artists at virtually any level of their art journey. Each class is open to students drawing by hand or digitally, and is loaded with practice assignments that help the drawing techniques become familiar, if not, second nature to students. I encourage you to check out the class series and give your future artist the opportunity to hone their unique art style and skill.
