In this one-time class, students will learn how to draw work trucks and other heavy machinery with basic shape drawing. This is an excellent class for elementary-age students who love construction toys like dump trucks, firetrucks, tractors, etc. Students will get to select from several different types of work vehicles to draw during class time. In classes with multiple students, everyone will get to pick at least one favorite to draw. Older students will learn some developmental tools more suited to their age range that are quick and easy tricks to improve their basic hand techniques for drawing. This will be an interactive class that will include top-down visual drawing instruction as well as casual conversation.
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic shape drawing and coloring techniques for their favorite work trucks and heavy machinery. Older students will also learn some easy drawing tips appropriate for their level.

1. Drawing Paper or Sketchbook 2. Pencil 3. Eraser 4. Pencil sharpener 5. Colored pencils (* I recommend Prisma brand colored pencils because these are the best for blending) 6. OPTIONAL: A Sharpie marker, a different colored paper for the background (It is faster than coloring and it looks neater than coloring the entire background in marker, scissors, glue, and a fine point black permanent marker (to outline drawing and small details).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
