Create a space painting that is out of this world! No experience necessary! Learners will use pencil, crayons, and watercolour to create their own unique solar systems. They will learn to draw planets with personality, shooting stars, and will also learn cool watercolour techniques to create stellar artwork! We will also talk about the names of the planets in our solar system for a bit of extra learning :) This one-time class will consist of three parts: drawing with pencil, colouring the stars and planets, and then painting with watercolour. Students will receive step-by-step instructions, but will also be encouraged to make their own creative decisions to make their own unique works of art! Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their work with each other. Come and join the fun!

Supply List
Supply List: pencil, eraser, crayons, watercolour paint (including black), paintbrush, water jar, tissues or paper towel, and watercolour paper (computer paper can be used if you don’t have watercolour paper). If you have a fine-line permanent marker bring that too, but it is not necessary for the project, black crayon or pencil can be used instead :)
