Learn to draw and paint a realistic Great Horned Owl during this one-time class. No experience necessary! We will use pencil, oil pastel/crayon, and watercolour to create amazing paintings inspired by the artist Robert Bateman! We will learn fun facts about the artist and also learn interesting facts about Great Horned Owls too! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the other learners in the class. It will be a warm and welcoming environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Supply List
You will need: a pencil, eraser, black and brown oil pastels or crayons, watercolour paints, watercolour paper (approximately 9" x 12"), a paintbrush, a water jar, and tissues or paper towel.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
