Do you love Minecraft, and creating art? If you do, join an exciting creative journey, dive into the world of Minecraft animals, and bring them to life on paper. You’ll learn to draw Minecraft animals like an axolotl, polar bear, glow squid, and puffer fish! This is a pre-recorded class and there are no live meetings. The class is project-based learning where students will follow along and learn by watching pre-recorded video lessons. Students will post or send their artwork in the classroom and the teacher will give personalized feedback through a video recording or written feedback. Students can post encouraging comments on their classmates' work. In this class, students will learn to draw Minecraft Animals with plenty of feedback and encouragement from the instructor. The instructor will demonstrate and explain the drawing process in the Megapixels method through pre-recorded videos as students follow along step-by-step, creating their own magnificent artwork. Students can copy the instructor’s picture or can add their own creative embellishments and colors. This class is geared toward beginners and intermediate/advanced students are welcome as well. The main goals are that students have fun while creating art they can feel proud to display! Students can share their art inside the classroom for encouraging feedback. Feedback may come in the form of written feedback and/or personalized videos from the art teacher who is assigned to our class. (See teacher descriptions below). (Instructor Meg has already created several lessons so if you want something different than what is listed, let us know ahead of time and if it’s available we will try to accommodate you).
Learning Goals
Students will learn creative and imaginative drawing and coloring techniques and how to add their own creative flair to their art. Some weeks, learners will also learn how to color or shade and to create depth in their art to make it pop. The end result will be cool drawings of Minecraft animals they will feel proud to display.

We go beyond teaching art: our mission is to equip children with mindsets that will help them succeed in all areas of life. Patience, persistence, peacefulness. Character, confidence, and creativity- cultivating these qualities in your child through a fun art experience is our passion.
We are on a mission to empower kids to become lifelong learners, who are confident in their creativity so they can overcome any obstacle, achieve their biggest dreams, and change the world.
We encourage students to not get caught up in perfectionism but rather to enjoy the process, which further unleashes artistic prowess.

🎨 Becca is a visual artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drawing. She has experience teaching art as well as swimming. She enjoys drawing digitally as well as with graphite and ink.
Review for Becca:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Becca was amazing. My son learned a great way to measure proportions and closely render what the photo references were. That's the hardest part for kids. Thank you Becca. - Ed C.
🎨 Meg Navarro. Over the past decade, Meg has taught thousands of students to create dazzling, realistic art, to take impressive photos, and to write their first novels. In 2007, Meg founded Megapixels School of the Arts, which began as a local art school and expanded to offer online classes a few years back. Meg personally trains each teacher in the Megapixels Method, which she has tested and refined over the past decade. Meg studied art, photography, and writing while earning her BA, and is currently working on her Masters in Education. In her free time, she loves making human pyramids with her friends!
Reviews for Meg:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My daughter (11) loves this class and is always looking forward to the next one. Her art skills improve with each class. I'm so glad she's found a class that she enjoys. She also says Teacher Meg is very patient and good with the other students. I recommend this class. - Melissa B.
