If students do not complete their drawing in the allotted class time they may choose to complete on their own time. I will be showing examples of how to finish their drawing.Assessment
Informal assessment- at the end of the class students will be asked to share their final project with the class. I will ask students "What are you most proud of?" and "What would you work on if you had more time?"Class Experience
In this class learners will create a Neurographic Drawing! This is called a neurographic drawing because it resembles what neurons look like! This is a hands on class where students will be creating the project as I demonstrate. No prior knowledge is needed. This drawing class is great for beginners! A neurographic drawing is created by a series of overlapping lines. Then all points are rounded and filled. Finally, students will have the choice how they finish their drawing- some choose to leave black/white, other choose to add color. The process is simple and repetitive and many students find it relaxing.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to create a neurograpahic style drawing.
