An ecosystem is a bubble of life - a geographical area where plants, animals, and other living things work to survive and thrive. In this class, students learn about open ocean ecosystems and apply what they learn by drawing an ocean scene. Interesting topics include: -how animals use ocean currents -up and down migrations within the ocean -cool symbiotic relationships My teaching style includes interesting slide presentations, class discussion, and guided drawing time. By the end of class, students will be able to draw and explain an ecosystem, including: -the physical environment -a source of minerals and nutrients -a producer -a symbiotic relationship -a larger predator
-paper -drawing/coloring materials
