What will be taught: In this class students will learn and practice some of the basic principles of drawing. Throughout class I will share and discuss several fun facts about our animal of the week. What to expect: At the beginning of class I will introduce myself and start with our first animal fact! Afterwards, we will begin drawing our cool animal while sharing more interesting facts. Once our drawing is complete, we will color them in. Teaching style: Step-by-step instruction. I will break this class down into individual steps so that students will have an opportunity to ask questions about any part of the instruction. Goal: To learn more about drawing and have fun! Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I'm Maggie. I live in the Sunshine State with my husband and 2 boys. I've been teaching art for 11 years. My classes include a mix of educational classes, recreational classes and camps. I love teaching art because I believe what the hand does, the mind remembers so by adding a fun and artistic component children retain what they are learning so much more!
