Description

Class Experience

Students will use drawing techniques to create this furry art project. Students will learn how to create texture and explore using pastels or crayons on a black background, which creates a very cool effect. While drawing the animal is done by following a directed drawing, the students will be encouraged to make their drawing unique and personal to them. To ensure students get interaction with the teacher, the beginning of class will start with introductions and class will end with sharing...

The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that the basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!

Black paper, pencil, pastels (if unavailable, use crayons)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
