This Drama Skills Club is ideal for your creative kids. We will learn new drama skills each week and practice them together in fun games and activities. Whether they are curious about drama or already a drama 'freak', this is for them.

Beginner Level
Join me for a weekly Drama Skills Club throughout the month of November right in my living room! Every week we will explore a new drama skill and build on what we've learned the week before. We'll do this by playing games and activities together that will help you practice what you learn in a fun and safe environment. Every class will also include a vocal warm up and stretch. While we will build each week on what we've learned, students are welcome to join in at any time. Week 1: Sat Nov. 2nd at 1:00pm EST- Theme: Getting to Know Each Other and the importance of trust- playing 2 truths and a lie and guessing answers Week 2: Sat Nov 9 at 1:00pm EST- Theme: Body Awareness practicing pantomime skits *Sat Nov 16- NO CLASS Week 3: Sat Nov 23 at 1:00pm EST- Theme: Projection practicing breathing and projection exercises and the importance of being heard Week 4: Sat Nov 30 at 1:00pm EST- Theme: Memorization Tips on memorizing and importance of it, as well as a memory game
Learning Goals
Each week we will focus on a new aspect or skill that drama has to offer. IE projection, body movement, memorization, and trust.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love teaching kids and have been working with kids for many years in different capacities (ie as a daycare assistant, Nanny, Sunday School teacher etc). I have also always been passionate about drama! In high school I lived and breathed drama and won multiple awards for my roles and experience.
