Teacher Kate (she/her): Kate is an accomplished film-maker and passionate bookworm. She has taught learners between the ages of 2 and 15 abroad in both Germany and Japan. Kate has a wide foundation of teaching experience from teaching middle schoolers to teaching English as a second language in Tokyo. She varies her teaching style to meet learners where they are and modulates her approach to suit all neurotypes. She brings a sense of calm to the classroom that provides an ideal environment for learners to thrive. Her teaching style is clear, passionate, and supportive.
Learners will need a phone or tablet with touchscreen capabilities or a laptop with touchscreen capabilities. Participants have a choice between doodling in Canva (free) or Procreate ($12.99 app store purchase) and should create an account prior to their first class. Lastly, doodlers will need a stylus. They are free to use any stylus that works with their device.
