Doodle Drawing: Winter Animals

In this 4 week course we draw several winter animals in a doodle style.

Class Experience

Join in on some winter weekly doodling fun! Students will use simple lines and shapes to create a doodle style drawing of a winter animal.  We will practice drawing with pencil, then add marker and finish with bright color using your choice of crayons, markers or colored pencils.
Week 1: Polar Bear
Week 2: Snowy Owl
Week 3:  Deer
Week 4: Fox
During the drawing class two cameras will be used simultaneously. Students will be able to see my drawing and listen to my instructions throughout the entire class. Questions and conversation are always welcomed as we work verbally or using the chat function. At the conclusion of the class all sharing will be optional. No previous experience is required.

Hello! My name is Kim.  I am passionate about Art, it truly makes our world a better place!  I have taught art in public schools for over 8 years and privately for 4 years. However, I have loved art since I was a small child!  I have always loved doodling!  Sharing the love of art with students is especially fun.  In addition I have taught Preschool for over 2 years.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from The College of New Jersey with a minor in Psychology, concentration in Art Therapy.  During those studies I worked on various areas of art from sculpture, to printmaking to color theory and much more.  In addition I studied the art of teaching specifically in the area of art education.  I also have a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.  
I live in a coastal town with my husband, 3 girls and miniature goldendoodle.  Besides creating art and being crafty I enjoy baking, reading and traveling...especially to Disney World!  Can't wait to see you in class.
