In this class, students will learn about amazing dogs in history. With the help of a slideshow, we discuss 5 dogs in history. I encourage all students to participate and answer questions by including multiple choice questions throughout the slideshow. Students will create an addition to their very own Dogs in History Encyclopedia. These encyclopedias can be created by printing the Printable Encyclopedia page (found on the classroom page after enrollment) or students can use blank pieces of paper. Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
