Students will learn about the dachshund dog breed. Students will learn about the history, characteristics, types, and needs of the dachshund breed. Students will also learn some of their nicknames. I will share a slide-show presentation to aid in the discussion. Students may bring their dog(s) to class. I will allow students to introduce their dog and share a fun fact about him/her. We'll see what our dogs have in common! I have been a dachshund owner for the past twenty years. I can't wait to introduce my fellow, Levi. This class is for anyone wanting to know more about dachshunds.

Student are permitted to bring their dog to class, but it is not required.

Hello! I am Christine Booker. I have a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach all subject areas K-6 for regular education and special education.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I taught sixth grade for eleven years, third grade for two years, and first grade for the past nine years. I have also taught online ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for the past three years.
