In this one time class, we will discuss the biology and chemistry of DNA and RNA with a focus on structure, DNA replication, transcription, and translation.

US Grade 8 - 11
In this class, the content will be presented in a lecture format using PowerPoint slides. I will discuss the components and structure of DNA and RNA, so some prior background in chemistry and biology is needed. The learners can draw or make models of the structures, while I present them, if they choose. The students will learn about the structure of DNA and RNA and be introduced to the "Central Dogma of Molecular Biology."
