DIY Montessori-On-Demand: Using Our Senses| Touch, Taste, Smell, Hearing | Part 1 is a self-paced course designed to build learners; skills, knowledge, and sensory development through Montessori principles. Our engaging class helps your child refine their senses of touch, sound, smell, and taste, fostering a deeper connection with the world around them. We are proud to be the first and only accredited Montessori school on the Outschool platform, featuring certified teachers who bring their expertise from our brick-and-mortar school located in Ontario, Canada. In this course, you will explore the Montessori approach to sensorial education, focusing on developing four of the five senses through carefully curated activities. Enhance your child's ability to distinguish textures, sounds, odors, and flavors. Each topic is designed to build on your child’s natural curiosity and eagerness to explore, providing them with valuable sensory experiences that support cognitive and emotional growth. The course is structured into weekly segments, each targeting a specific aspect of sensory development. Each segment features detailed video instructions that begin with an explanation of the activity's purpose, followed by a list of materials needed and step-by-step guidance. To further support our teaching, videos are paired with printable resources that offer alternative approaches to the Montessori materials. Throughout the course, presenter tips and insights are provided to help maximize the effectiveness of each activity and ensure a rich learning experience for your child. Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Students are highly encouraged to actively participate by reviewing the class content and applying Montessori methods at home, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning experience that deepens understanding and engagement. Our teaching style is designed to be fun, engaging, and productive, making the learning process enjoyable. The self-paced format allows you to progress at your own convenience while exploring dynamic and interactive exercises that cater to your child’s developmental needs. The comprehensive video content and printable resources are structured to give you confidence in completing each activity effectively, ensuring a seamless integration of sensorial exploration into your daily routines. While this course is self-paced, you are not alone in your journey. Learners have the opportunity to book individual meetings with the instructor to discuss any questions, seek guidance, or receive personalized feedback. This support ensures that you have the assistance you need to implement Montessori sensorial activities successfully and address any challenges that may arise. By the end of this course, children will be equipped to foster their sensory development through Montessori principles, enriching their ability to engage with and understand their environment. Join us in this sensory adventure to enhance your child's perceptual abilities and make everyday experiences both educational and exciting.
