In this engaging and informative course, you will delve into the Montessori approach to education, with a specific focus on practical life skills. You’ll explore how Montessori methods can be seamlessly integrated into daily routines at home. Topics included within PART TWO are developing fine motor skills, enhancing hand-eye coordination, and promoting self-help skills that contribute to your child’s independence. The course also emphasizes the importance of whole-body movements in building confidence and competence. The course is divided into weekly units, each focusing on a distinct aspect of practical life skills. Each unit includes carefully crafted video content that explains the purpose of the activity, the materials needed, and the step-by-step process. Additionally, videos are complemented by printable resources (as needed) to provide an easy alternative to the authentic Montessori material. Throughout the videos, presenter tips offer valuable insights and suggestions to maximize the effectiveness of each activity. Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Students are highly encouraged to actively participate by reviewing the class content and applying Montessori methods at home, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning experience that deepens understanding and engagement. Our teaching style is designed to be fun, engaging, and productive. The self-paced format allows you to learn at your convenience while interacting with practical and dynamic exercises. The videos and resources are structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of each activity, ensuring that you feel confident with the activities. While this course is self-paced, you’re not alone on this journey. Learners have the opportunity to book individual meetings with the teacher to ask questions, seek guidance, or receive personalized feedback. This ensures that you have the support you need to effectively implement Montessori principles and activities in your home. Squeezing a Sponge helps children develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination by transferring water between containers.
Lesson 2:
Wringing a Cloth
Wringing a Cloth develops fine motor skills and hand strength. Children practice twisting a wet cloth to remove water, enhancing coordination and concentration.

Using a Baster develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Children practice squeezing the bulb to transfer liquid, enhancing their precision and control.
Lesson 4:
Clipping with Clothespins
Clipping with Clothespins enhances fine motor skills and hand strength. Children practice pinching and attaching clothespins to objects, which improves their coordination and concentration.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance and support may sometimes be required to supervise young learners. We may need help using various stationary items (i.e., scissors, knife, stapler etc.), or preparing materials before class.
