Are you eager to deepen your understanding of Montessori principles and effectively work through engaging learning activities? Our self-paced course, Montessori on Demand - Learner Resources, is here to equip you with essential knowledge and practical skills to support a child's Montessori journey.

We are proud to be the first and only accredited Montessori school on the Outschool platform, featuring certified teachers who bring their expertise from our brick-and-mortar school located in Ontario, Canada.

In this comprehensive yet approachable course, you will explore the core aspects of Montessori education and how to implement them at home. We will cover foundational topics, including the essence of Montessori learning, the five key areas of a Montessori classroom, and the three-period lesson method. Each topic is designed to help you understand how to create a nurturing learning environment that aligns with Montessori principles.

This course is designed to help learners master the Montessori approach to education. You’ll learn about Montessori learning fundamentals, which emphasize self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play. We will explore the five distinct areas of a Montessori classroom—Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture—giving you insights into how each area contributes to a child’s development.

Additionally, you'll get an introduction to the three-period lesson, a key method used in Montessori to present new concepts and reinforce learning. This method helps children grasp new ideas effectively by dividing learning into three stages: introduction, association, and recall.

We’ll also guide you through setting up a prepared environment at home that supports Montessori principles. Learn how to organize learning spaces, select materials, and create an atmosphere that fosters independence and curiosity. Finally, we will delve into the Montessori approach to making mistakes, encouraging a positive attitude toward errors and learning.

Our course is structured with short, engaging videos that address each topic individually. Each video is crafted to provide clear, practical information, allowing you to absorb and apply the concepts at your own pace. Throughout the course, you will find that our teaching style is both fun and productive, designed to keep you engaged while providing you with valuable insights. Our goal is to make learning about Montessori as enjoyable and informative as possible.

Our videos demonstrate how to create Montessori materials using common supplies, eliminating the need to purchase additional resources. Students are highly encouraged to actively participate by reviewing the class content and applying Montessori methods at home, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning experience that deepens understanding and engagement.

Although this course is self-paced, you are not alone in your learning journey. Learners have the opportunity to book individual meetings with me to discuss any questions or seek personalized feedback. This ensures that you have the support you need to successfully implement Montessori principles and activities at home.

Join us in Montessori on Demand - Learner Resources and empower yourself with the knowledge to create a rich, supportive learning environment. Discover the joy of Montessori education and help your child thrive with confidence and curiosity.
