What you can expect from this class: In this 5 week flex class, I will teach the foundations of understanding division. Each week the information will build. They will learn the step by step process- truly breaking division down to help your student better understand. I will be teaching strategies that they can use to help them with division. Each weekly session will build on the previous week. I will include two weekly instructional videos on Tuesday and Thursday (eastern standard time) based on the weekly topic and two optional assignments each week based on the topic (I can provide more at request). These assignments are not required but are recommended to apply what is learned to ensure understanding and proficiency. I will provide feedback for each assignment submitted. On week 6, I will supply a test on the given material (not required but recommended) to allow students to demonstrate their knowledge. Upon submission, I will give feedback on the submitted tests. The first weekly video (Tuesday) will be a video at a slow pace to fully explain in detail the weekly topic and provide examples being worked through step by step with a full explanation. The second weekly video (Thursday) will be comprised of discussing the topic at a bit faster pace and showing examples. I will provide the notes from the videos at request.
