In this week long class, students will review division fluency, learn how to divide with remainders and learn how to solve long division equations.

1 hour per week. Students will get a few problems to solve after the video of the day. The problems will be the same type of problems that we went over in class. These are optional.Certificate of Completion

There are no live classes. In this week long class, students will review division fluency, learn how to divide with remainders and learn how to solve long division equations. There are 5 lessons that students can complete at their own pace. If the students do one lesson a day they could complete it in one week. If the students do one lesson a week, it will take them 5 weeks to complete. Students will get a video lesson and an assignment for each lesson. I will give feedback on any assignments that the student turns in. Students can also message me in the classroom with any questions they may have.

Division Strategies
Students will get a video lesson of different strategies to solve division equations. Students will then get problems to solve on their own. Students will solve the problems and then post their work in the classroom or send their answers directly to me. 1 assignment
Lesson 2:
Division with Remainders
Students will get a quick review of division fluency and then we will move on to division with remainders. Students will get a video lesson and problems to solve and post. 1 assignment
Lesson 3:
Division with and without Remainders
Students will get a video lesson with a review of division with remainders and one way to solve long division. Students will get problems to solve that they can post in the classroom. 1 assignment
Lesson 4:
Long Division
Students will get a review of the first way we worked on long division and then we will learn another way to solve division. Students can choose whichever way they prefer to solve their problems. 1 assignment

Supply List
Students will need a white board and marker or paper and pencil for each video to solve their problems.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
