We like to use a lot of games, activities and stories to help solidify students' understanding of Spanish and the vocabulary. Students will be able to speak in full sentences in Spanish using correct grammar and using a varied vocabulary.
Ashley learned and practiced Spanish from many trips to Nicaragua and also from her husband, who is Nicaraguan. She has worked with ESL students in the U.S. and Nicaragua and used Spanish to communicate with the students and their parents, as well as translating for school administration and staff. Nicole is a native Spanish speaker and an experienced ESL and Spanish language teacher in the classroom and online.
If the student enjoys drawing and coloring and/ or learns better through visual and kinethestic ways, it is highly suggested that the student brings a notebook, pencil, and markers/ crayons/ colored pencils to class with them to record vocabulary and sentences practiced in class. Please let us know if this is something that the student would like to do.
