BEHAVIOR! Disrespect comes in many forms. Lying, being aggressive, not listening and many more. Whether you are in need a refresher course or reinforcement of what you are teaching at home, this class will help. I am always happy to help!

Class Experience

*NO LIVE CLASSES* Students can post questions and replies on the classroom page or privately message me.

This is a multi-day class. Videos will be recorded so you may watch them at your convenience. There are many ways for your learner to interact during the class. You are always welcome to chat in the classroom or private message me. I will be asking questions so we can get to know each other better.

I teach in a positive non-accusatory manner. This helps students become more comfortable in all of my classes. All children are welcome in my classroom! This is an outline of what will be taught in the class. Learners will not be engaging in therapeutic conversation during this class.

#1 Showing respect, to parents, teachers, friends and in school. As well as respecting the same in return.

#2 Why did we decide to lie? What is behind my choices and how to rebuild trust.

#3 Being a role model to not only others but to ourselves. Choosing characteristics in others that we wish to see in a role model and deciding which characteristics in us that we would like to work on.

#4. Seeing other people's perspective and in turn we will be more conscious about our choices.

#5 How to express our feelings without losing our self-control. Staying calm in times of everyday stressors. We will be learning visualization techniques in this class!

#6 Taking responsibility for our actions.

Discussions will include:

Making excuses
Facial expressions, eye rolling, not making eye contact.
Journaling to gain perspective.
Finding a calm space.
Being mad does not include being mean
Respectfully disagreeing, not dragging others into our argument to prove we are right.

Each video is between ten to fifteen minutes long. The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.
