Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Beginner - Intermediate Level
In my course, I have connected movement to our favorite music and characters from Disney Junior. But even if your child does not follow the shows, this is an engaging and energetic workout taught by a Certified Pilates and Dance Teacher.

In this beginner ongoing weekly course, learners will begin class with a warm-up and stretch. Students will learn Exercise drills with a motion game. Mickey Mouse, Bluey, Puppy Dog Pals, Spidey, and other friends will help us learn these new moves. Every class will include learning at least 2 American Sign Language signs. Learning sign language with music will help students connect to learning in visual and kinesthetic ways. Students will have an opportunity to move their bodies in healthy and happy ways every week. They will also have a chance to discuss class and meet the other students in their course. No dance experience or exercise experience is necessary. No extra materials are required. Classes will not build upon each other so learners are welcome to come and go whenever is most convenient for them. These classes are rotated on a schedule of every 14 weeks. I received a ballet scholarship in my Ballet training school in Idaho. I never fell out of love with Ballet, and continued to incorporate dance in my life by teaching Beginning Ballet students for 3 years. In 2010, I received a Pilates certification and went on to run my own small Pilates business and I continue to teach students and friends of all ages. In 2022, I became certified to teach yoga to children. I love dancing, but my greatest joy is choreographing movement as an art form. I truly hope for learners to find grace, poise, and confidence in the movements they learn.
